A fantastic villa and a fantastic holiday!!!

"The villa was everything and more than we could have expected, with 3 large bedrooms and a spacious living room and kitchen which had all of the equipment we needed for our family of four adults. The outside areas are great with 2 terraces upstairs and an outside dining area next to the pool. The pool (needed to cool off with the lovely hot weather) was fantastic and beautifully clean. The booking with Hilary and Terry was straight forward and included lots of useful information about the villa and directions from the airport. Lardos is a nice village with some good restaurants and local shops, and is a good base for visiting the rest of the island.

 

All in all a fantastic holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Rhodes."

Glorious holiday!

"We were lucky enough to be with Paul and Mandy so enjoying a glorious 2 weeks in Rhodes-13 straight days of pure blu sky, clouds only on our last day. I can only wholeheartedly agree with everything Mandy has said about Villa Helios. Location was perfect, tucked at the edge of the village, completely private pool and patio. The walk into the village was all of about 3 minutes, where we found loads of very friendly bars restaruants and shops, including 2 small supermarkets. For anyone feeling active there is a go-cart track just down the road (have to say, great fun!) and also a very nice crazy golf course. Shaded parking for our hire car just completed this little taste of heaven. Would recommend this villa without a moment's hesitation."

Perfect!!

"We stayed at this lovely villa with friends (one other couple; we did not use the downstairs twin room) for 2 weeks. The villa was absolutely perfect for our needs. The bedrooms are very spacious with huge amounts of wardrobe and storage space and very big comfortable beds. It is great to have two bathrooms, one per couple too. There is everything you need in the well laid out kitchen, including a dishwasher and washing machine. It was great to be able to do all the holiday washing before returning to cold rain soaked England!! Also with the luggage allowances being so low on budget airlines it meant we could get away with one checked bag per couple. The terrace is a lovely size with a large table and chairs leading to the fab and necessary pool. The garden area is very private and not overlooked. The villa also has very efficient air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans, which we took good advantage off in the July heat!! The villa also has wi-fi with a very strong signal which was a lovely bonus; also as the TV had sky the men were delighted to be able to watch sport when they needed to come indoors to cool off!!

 

The thing we really enjoyed about this villa is its location. Only a 40 minute drive from the airport and only a 3-4 minute walk into Lardos Village, and what a lovely village!! So friendly, in the bars, restaurants and shops, both the locals and the ex-pats. The restaurants were very good value and the food was delicious; Roulas was our favourite. We used both bakers and both butchers. So, so reasonable, we even had a Birthday cake made at the cost of 11 Euros!!

 

We loved exploring Rhodes Island; we visited Lindos, Rhodes Old Town and harbour. We also drove over the mountains (a very good road too!) visited a monastery, and relaxed on some of the beaches - Glystra Beach was our favourite.

 

Paul, Callum and Gayle (all British) were on hand for any problems and looked after us well. All in all a top notch holiday and we would definitely recommend this villa. If we decided to return to Rhodes again we would definitely stay here."

Great Place

"We stayed at this Vila with two friends, went for a chill out break to enjoy the sun. WOW great place very homely fully equipped home from home, fantastic pool sun all day, 2 mins walk into village supermarket, bakers, butchers, fish monger, fantastic tavernas and cocktail bars all cheap and friendly, local beach 5min drive perfect. Definitely recommend this place. Only negative.... we had to come home.. Thanks Hilary we all enjoyed the stay."
